Merge PDF: combine PDF files into one

Yes — they are two names for one operation, and this tool is both. Merging (or combining) takes several separate PDFs and produces a single document containing all of their pages, in the order you set. Do not confuse it with Mail Merge, which is a different tool: that one takes one form and a spreadsheet and produces many documents, rather than taking many documents and producing one.

Yes. Each file in the list takes an optional page range, so you can pull pages 1–3 out of one document and the whole of another into the same output without splitting anything first. Leave the range blank to take the entire file. If a range does not make sense for the file it is on, the merge is blocked rather than quietly producing a short document.

No. The file is opened, processed and saved back by code running in this browser tab — there is no upload endpoint on our servers to send it to. You can watch the Network panel in your browser's developer tools while you work and confirm nothing carrying the document leaves the page.

Merging PDFs is free with a free account: up to 3 downloads a day, and a small PDFMacro line on each page of a saved PDF. Pro removes both. There are no page or file-size caps on either plan.

With Pro, yes. Once the page has loaded, every tool keeps working with the network disconnected, because the processing never depended on a server round-trip; OCR's language packs need one download the first time. A free account needs a connection to save, for its daily count. AI features need your AI: your provider online, or your local model running.
