Can I watermark only some pages?
Yes — the mark can be applied to selected pages rather than the whole document, which is what you want for a draft where only part of the file is provisional.
Should I use a watermark or a header and footer?
A watermark is the diagonal or across-the-page mark — CONFIDENTIAL, DRAFT. Header & Footer is running text at the page edges, such as a case caption or a filename. Use the one that matches where the text belongs.
Does watermarking upload my PDF to a server?
No. The file is opened, processed and saved back by code running in this browser tab — there is no upload endpoint on our servers to send it to. You can watch the Network panel in your browser's developer tools while you work and confirm nothing carrying the document leaves the page.
Is Watermark free?

Does it work offline?
